Essential Reading
Whether you had the best parents in the world, or you had a bumpy ride, perhaps you thought your parents were awesome, but actually, you feel that you want to address gender, equality, feminism, anti-racism, respect, discipline, consent, and any other social issue in a different way, there is something for you here.
It is OK to want to do things differently from the experience you had growing up - times change, attitudes change, the world moves on, and as parents, the best thing we can do is to challenge our own beliefs to make sure they are fit for the world our children are growing up in.

"As you watch your child develop,
remember that they are also watching how you grow."
I would encourage all parents to consider these essential questions:
1) What kind of parent do you want to be?
2) What kind of human do you want to create?
3) What knowledge and skills will you need to make that happen?
Here are a few stories from my own parenting adventure, some stories from Little Hurrahs Families, as well as books, blogs and ideas that resonate with the Little Hurrahs ethos.
Enjoy, Jo x
